Red Snapper in Thai-Style Crust
A Thai-inspired dish featuring red snapper in a crispy crust, served with a side of garlic knots.
Ingredients
- β4 fillets (6 oz each) red snapper
- β1 cup (all-purpose) flour
- β1 dozen (garlic) knots
- β1/4 cup vegetable oil
- β4 cloves garlic
- β2 tbsp fish sauce
- β1 tbsp lemon juice
- β1 tsp chili flakes
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp paprika

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the red snapper fillets with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, mix together flour, garlic, fish sauce, lemon juice, chili flakes, cumin, and paprika.

Dredge the red snapper fillets in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.

Heat 1/4 cup of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the red snapper fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Transfer the red snapper fillets to a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.
