Japanese Battered Snapper
A simple Japanese-inspired recipe for a delicious battered snapper.
Ingredients
- β4 Red Snapper FilletsFresh fish for the best taste
- β1 cup All-Purpose FlourFor the batter
- β1 cup Panko Knots (Japanese Breadcrumbs)

1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour and a pinch of salt.

2. In a separate dish, crack an egg and whisk it lightly.

3. Dip each snapper fillet into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.

4. Then, dip the floured fillet into the egg mixture, making sure it's fully coated.

5. Finally, roll the fillet in the Panko knots to coat evenly.

6. Place the coated snapper fillet on a plate or tray.

7. Heat about 1/2-inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

8. When the oil is hot, add 2-3 coated snapper fillets to the skillet.
