Saudi Arabian Lentil Kebabs
A flavorful and healthy dish from the heart of the Arabian Peninsula. Marinated lentils are grilled to perfection and served with a side of aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- β1 cup lentils, brownrinsed and drained
- β2 tsp aromatic spice blendstore-bought or homemade
- β1 tsp saudi Arabian spicesstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor brushing
- β2 tbsp lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

In a large bowl, combine lentils, aromatic spice blend, saudi Arabian spices, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated lentils onto skewers, leaving a small space between each lentil.

Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Grill the lentil kebabs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
