Grilled Lentil Skewers with Arabian Spice
Inspired by Japanese flavors, these skewers combine the taste of Arabian spice with the simplicity of grilled lentils. A unique and delicious twist on traditional Japanese cuisine.
Ingredients
- β1 cup red lentilssorted and rinsed
- β2 tsp arabian spice blendstore-bought or homemade
- β1 tsp grill oilsesame oil or olive oil
- β6 saudi datespitted
- β1/2 cup aromatic onionsthinly sliced
- β2 tbsp soy saucelow-sodium
- β1 tbsp rice vinegaroptional

1. Soak the red lentils in water for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse.

2. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.

3. Thread a lentil, a date, and an onion slice onto each skewer.

4. Brush the skewers with grill oil and season with Arabian spice blend.

5. Grill the skewers for 5-7 minutes per side, or until slightly charred.
