Thai Sea Bass in Sweet Treat Sauce
A simple yet flavorful Thai dish featuring pan-seared sea bass in a sweet and tangy sauce, served with steamed vegetables.
Ingredients
- β4 Sea Bass Fillets
- β1/2 cup Sweet Red Chili Sauce
- β2 tbsp Fish Sauce
- β2 tbsp Palm Sugar
- β2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β1/4 cup Thai Basil
- β1 tsp Chili Flakes
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β2 tbsp Lime Juice
- βto taste Salt

1. In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, fish sauce, palm sugar, and lime juice.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

3. Add the sea bass fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

4. Remove the sea bass from the pan and set aside.

5. In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

6. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

7. Stir in the chili flakes and cook for 1 minute.

8. Pour the sweet chili sauce mixture into the pan and bring to a simmer.
