Crispy Smoked Sausage Skewers
A traditional German-inspired dish featuring crispy smoked sausages on skewers, perfect for a summer barbecue.
Ingredients
- β500g Crispy Smoked Sausages (Croatian)Available at most German butcher shops
- β200g TofuOptional (for vegetarian version)
- β20-30 SkewersWooden or metal skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes before use
Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (180Β°C).

Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes before use.

Cut crispy smoked sausages into 5cm pieces.

Thread 2-3 sausage pieces onto each skewer, leaving space between each piece.

If using tofu, cut into small cubes and thread onto skewers.

Brush skewers with a little bit of oil and season with salt and pepper.

Grill skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until sausage is nicely charred.

Remove skewers from grill and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
