Crispy Warak Enab Fritters
A crispy and savory fritter made with warak enab, perfect for snacking. This recipe is an innovative twist on traditional Indian street food.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, drained and chopped Warak Enab
- β1/2 cup, drained and chopped Middle Eastern Enab
- β1/4 cup Crispy Fried Onions
- β2 teaspoons Eastern Spice Blend
- β2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- β1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

In a large bowl, combine chopped warak enab and middle eastern enab.

In a small bowl, mix Eastern spice blend, lemon juice and salt. Pour over the enab mixture and toss to coat.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Using a spoon, drop the enab mixture into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the fritters until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
