Birria Beef Tacos
A flavorful and spicy Mexican dish made with tender beef in a rich birria broth, served in tacos.
Ingredients

- ●2 Jubilant Jalapeños (2)
- ●1 Tender Onions (1)
- ●1 tsp Mexican Oregano (1 tsp)
- ●2 tbsp Birria Spice Blend (2 tbsp)
- ●4 cups Beef Broth (4 cups)
- ●2 tbsp Lime Juice (2 tbsp)
- ●1/4 cup Cilantro (1/4 cup)
- ●8 Tortillas (8)
- ●1 cup Sour Cream (1 cup)

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the beef on all sides, then remove from heat and set aside.

Add onions to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the jalapeños and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the oregano, birria spice blend, and beef broth to the pot. Stir to combine.

Return the beef to the pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Shred the beef with two forks and return it to the pot.

Stir in lime juice and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Warm tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
