Indulgent Comte and Galette Tart
A rich and buttery galette crust filled with a creamy comte cheese and topped with a fluffy egg mixture. Perfect for a decadent dessert.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Comte cheeseHigh-quality, aged comte for the best flavor
- β1 package Galette doughHomemade or store-bought, chilled until firm
- β3 large EggsFor the fluffy egg mixture on top
- β4 tbsp ButterUnsalted, softened for the crust
- βpinch SaltTo balance the sweetness
- β1 sprig Fresh thymeOptional, for garnish

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the galette dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Transfer the dough to a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the comte cheese and eggs.

Add a pinch of salt and stir until smooth.

Pour the cheese mixture into the galette crust.

Dot the top with butter and sprinkle with fresh thyme, if using.
