Comte and Fluffy Galette
A unique Japanese-inspired dessert featuring a comte-infused galette and fluffy accompaniment.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, grated Comte
- β1 sheet Basque-style puff pastry (galette dough)
- β2 tbsp Indulgent honey
- β1 cup Fluffy vanilla whipped cream
- β1 tsp Matcha powder
- β1 tsp Granulated sugar

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the galette dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix together the comte, honey, and matcha powder.

Spread the comte mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

Fold the edges of the dough up over the filling, pressing gently to seal.

Brush the dough with a little water and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

While the galette is baking, whip the vanilla cream until stiff peaks form.
