Thai Comte Galette
A Thai twist on the classic galette pastry. Flaky, indulgent, and packed with the rich flavors of Thailand.
Ingredients
- β200g Comte cheese
- β1 sheet Flaky pastry dough
- β2 tsp Sesame seeds
- β1 tsp Grated ginger
- β1/4 tsp Thai red chili flakes
- βchopped Fresh cilantro
- β2 tbsp Balsamic glaze
- β1 tbsp Honey
- βchopped Thai basil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C)

Roll out the pastry dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Mix the comte cheese, sesame seeds, grated ginger, and Thai red chili flakes in a bowl

Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the center of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges

Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pressing gently to seal

Brush the top of the galette with the beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped cilantro

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted

Drizzle the balsamic glaze and honey over the galette

Sprinkle with chopped Thai basil and serve warm
