Basque Comte Tart
A rich and creamy tart with a Basque-style crust, perfect for a special occasion. This gluten-free dessert is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, grated Comte cheese
- β1 sheet, thawed Galette dough (gluten-free)
- β1 large Egg
- β1/4 teaspoon Salt
- β1 tablespoon Butter
- β1/2 cup Indulgent caramel sauce
- β1 cup Fluffy whipped cream

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the galette dough and place it in a tart pan with a removable bottom.

In a bowl, mix together the grated Comte cheese, egg, and salt.

Pour the cheese mixture into the tart shell and smooth the top.

Dot the top of the tart with butter.

Bake the tart for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
