Autumn Empanada Filling with Apple
A unique twist on a traditional Japanese dessert, combining the flavors of autumn with the warmth of empanadas.

- β2 large ApplesGranny Smith or other firm variety
- β1 cup Brown Sugar
- β1 tsp Cinnamon
- β1/2 tsp Allspice
- β1 packet Empanada Filling Seasoning (Argentinian)

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Peel, core, and chop the apples into 1-inch pieces.

Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and allspice in a bowl.

Add the apple pieces to the bowl and toss until coated.

Roll out the empanada dough and cut into 4-6 triangles.

Place a tablespoon of apple mixture onto one half of each triangle.

Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
