Italian-Style Tofu Tagine
A fusion of Italian and North African flavors, this dish combines crispy tofu with a rich and spicy tagine sauce. Serve with crusty bread for a satisfying meal.

- β400g tofu
- β2tbsp algerianBerber spice blend
- β1tsp acridoptional, for some heat
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2tbsp olive oil
- β100ml white wine
- β2tbsp tomato paste
- β200g chopped tomatoes
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

1. Preheat the oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

2. Cut the tofu into small cubes and coat with a mixture of olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper.

3. Bake the tofu in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy.

4. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

5. Add the Berber spice blend and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

6. Add the white wine and cook until reduced by half.
