Jamaican Pasta Bake
A flavorful and comforting pasta dish infused with Jamaican spices and topped with a crunchy breadcrumb mix.
Ingredients
- β250g pastapenne or fusilli work well
- β2 tbsp xtra virgin olive oilfor cooking pasta
- β200g tangy tomato saucehomemade or store-bought
- β1 tsp jamaican jerk seasoningadjust to taste
- β50g bakecrushed into breadcrumbs
- β20g chopped scallionsoptional garnish

Preheat oven to 180Β°C.

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add jerk seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Add tomato sauce to the skillet and stir to combine with jerk seasoning. Bring to a simmer.

Stir in cooked pasta to coat with sauce.

Transfer pasta mixture to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.

Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until breadcrumbs are golden brown.
