Tender Irish Dish

Ingredients
- ●1 (1.5-2 pounds) Irish tenderloin

- ●1 teaspoon sugar
- ●1/4 cup sugar
- ●2 tablespoons butter
- ●1 medium onion
- ●2 cloves garlic
- ●1 tablespoon thyme

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the tenderloin with salt, pepper, and thyme.

Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.

While the tenderloin is cooking, sauté the sliced onion and minced garlic in the skillet until softened.

Add the sugar to the skillet and stir to combine.
