Sweet and Sour Prawns
A twist on traditional Chinese stir-fry, this dish combines succulent prawns with a tangy sweet and sour sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound prawnspeeled and deveined
- β2 tablespoons sweetrice vinegar
- β1 tablespoon sweetsugar
- β1 teaspoon mexicancumin
- β1 cup paellacooked rice
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the prawns and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the prawns from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add the cooked rice and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add the cumin and stir-fry for another minute.

In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar and sugar.

Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the rice and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
