Tomato and Flaky Pastry Samosas
A flavorful and crispy samosa filled with spiced tomato and flaky pastry, a classic Indian snack.
Ingredients
- β1 package (thawed) flaky pastry
- β1/2 cup, chopped sun-dried tomato
- β1 tsp algerian spice blendor garam masala
- β1 medium, diced tomato
- β1 tsp nutty oilor vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup, grated fondue cheeseoptional

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry to a thickness of 1/8 inch (3 mm).

Cut out circles of pastry using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

In a bowl, mix together the chopped sun-dried tomato, algerian spice blend, and diced tomato.

Place a tablespoon of the tomato mixture in the center of each pastry circle.

Brush the edges of the pastry with nutty oil.

Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle or a cone, and press the edges together to seal.

Brush the tops of the samosas with nutty oil and sprinkle with fondue cheese (if using).

Place the samosas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
