Soft Date Tagine with Japanese Twist
A sweet and savory dessert inspired by Japanese and Moroccan flavors, featuring soft, Egyptian dates in a rich tagine sauce.

- β1/2 cup Egyptian dates
- β2 tablespoons TagineMoroccan spice blend
- β2 tablespoons SakeJapanese rice wine
- β1 tablespoon Honey
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- β1/2 cup MochiJapanese rice flour cake

2. In a small saucepan, combine tagine and sake. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is fragrant and slightly thickened.

3. Add the honey and butter to the saucepan. Stir until the butter has melted.

4. Add the soft dates to the saucepan and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they start to caramelize.

5. Add the Egyptian dates to the saucepan and cook for another 2 minutes, or until they are well coated with the tagine sauce.
