Argentinian Wagyu Beef and Chestnut Casserole
A hearty Japanese-inspired casserole filled with tender Wagyu beef, sweet chestnuts, and a rich argentinian sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Wagyu beefthinly sliced
- β1 cup Chestnutscanned or fresh
- β1/2 cup Oozy saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tsp Peppery argentinian seasoningstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp Sesame oilfor cooking
- β2 tbsp Soy saucefor marinade
- β1 tsp Sugarfor marinade
- β2 cups Ricecooked
- β1/4 cup Green onionschopped

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Marinate Wagyu beef in soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes.

Sear Wagyu beef in a pan until browned, then set aside.

In the same pan, add argentinian seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Add chestnuts and cook until heated through.

In a separate pan, heat oozy sauce over low heat.

Assemble casserole by layering cooked rice, Wagyu beef, and chestnut mixture.
