Lamb Koftas with Greek Feta
A twist on traditional Mexican street food, these lamb koftas are infused with Greek flavors and topped with creamy feta cheese.
Ingredients
- β500g ground lamb
- β150g greek yogurt
- β2 tsp greek oregano
- β2 cloves garlic
- β250g greek feta cheese
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β2 tbsp lemon juice
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, Greek yogurt, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the lamb mixture onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Grill the koftas for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and lightly charred.

Transfer the koftas to a plate and top each one with a dollop of Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of crumbled feta cheese.
