German Apple Gougere
A classic German dessert featuring a low-glycemic gougere pastry filled with sweet apples.

- β1/4 tsp salt
- β2 large eggsroom temperature
- β1 cup grated applelow-glycemic
- β2 tbsp granulated sugaroptional

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream butter and eggs until light and fluffy.

Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture, mixing until combined.

Gently fold in grated apple.

Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a large round tip.
