Revithia Chickpea Stew
A hearty, comforting stew from Greece featuring chickpeas, revithia, and lovely smoky spices.

Ingredients
- β1 cup, dried revithia
- β1 can, drained and rinsed chickpeas
- β2 tablespoons, olive oil lovely
- β1 teaspoon, paprika smoky
- β1 teaspoon, dried oregano greek
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β4 cups water

Instructions

Heat the lovely oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the smoky paprika, greek oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the revithia and cook for 1-2 minutes, until lightly toasted.

Add the chickpeas and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the revithia is tender.
