Catalana Kissed Ham and Turkey Empanadas
A fusion of Spanish and Mexican flavors, these empanadas feature ham and turkey, kissed by a sweet caramelized crema.

- β8 oz Turkey
- β1 package Galician Kissed Pastry Dough
- β1 cup Catalana Crema
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- βto taste Turmeric
- βto taste Garlic Powder
- βto taste Cumin
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the Galician Kissed Pastry Dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

In a bowl, mix together the ham, turkey, crema, salt, black pepper, turmeric, garlic powder, and cumin.

Place a spoonful of the ham-turkey mixture onto the center of each dough circle.

Brush the edges of the dough with a little water and fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape.

Press the edges together to seal the empanada and use a fork to crimp the edges.

Place the empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with a little crema and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.

Bake the empanadas in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
