Turkey Tinga Tacos
A twist on traditional tacos, using shredded turkey cooked in a smoky chipotle tomato sauce, served with crema and crispy kissed tortillas.
Ingredients
- β1 lb 1 lb turkey breast
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup crema
- β2 2 kissed tortillas
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup chopped galician onions
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup chopped catalana tomatoes
- β2 tbsp 2 tbsp olive oil
- β1 tsp 1 tsp ground cumin
- β1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- β Salt and pepper to taste
- β4 slices 4 slices hamoptional

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onions and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Shred the turkey breast and add it to the skillet, stirring to combine.

Add the cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and stir to combine.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Warm the kissed tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

Assemble the tacos by spooning the turkey mixture onto a tortilla and topping with crema, ham (if using), and any desired additional toppings.
