Pan-Seared Trout à la Française
A classic French dish featuring fresh trout, pan-seared to perfection. Serve with a fresh salad for a light and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- ●4 Fresh trout fillets (4)skin removed
- ●1 bunch Fresh parsley
- ●2 tbsp Lemon juice
- ●2 tbsp Butter
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
- ●1 head Mixed greens salad
- ●1 pint Cherry tomatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the trout fillets with salt and black pepper.

In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.

Add the trout fillets, skin side up, and sear for 2-3 minutes.

Flip the trout and sear for another 2-3 minutes.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the trout is cooking, prepare the salad by combining the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Serve the pan-seared trout with the fresh salad on the side.
