Delicate Japanese Bao
Soft, fluffy bao dough infused with delicate yeast flavor, perfect for serving with your favorite Japanese dishes.
Ingredients

- β1 teaspoon Yeastdelicate yeast
- β1/4 teaspoon Salt
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β1 cup Warm water
- β1/4 cup Japanese milkor regular milk
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seedsoptional
- β1 tablespoon Vegetable oil

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of warm water and 1 teaspoon of delicate yeast.

2. Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes, until it becomes frothy.

3. Add the bao flour, salt, sugar, and Japanese milk to the bowl.

4. Mix the dough until it forms a smooth ball.

5. Knead the dough for 10 minutes, until it becomes elastic.

6. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rise for 1 hour, until it doubles in size.

7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 4-6 equal pieces.

8. Shape each piece into a ball and flatten it slightly into a disk.
