French Bao
A French-inspired twist on the traditional Chinese bao, filled with delicate flavors and textures.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Japanese milk bread dough
- ●1/4 cup Delicate goat cheese
- ●1 tsp Fresh thyme
- ●4 Bao
- ●1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the Japanese milk bread dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.

Cut out 4 circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Spoon a small amount of delicate goat cheese onto one half of each dough circle.

Sprinkle a pinch of fresh thyme over the goat cheese.

Fold the other half of the dough circle over the filling and press the edges together to seal.

Brush the tops of the bao with extra-virgin olive oil.

Place the bao on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
