Dutch Apple Crumble
A classic dessert made with tender apples, crunchy crumble topping, and a hint of warm spices.
Ingredients
- β6-8 medium-sized Apples
- β1 cup (200g) Sugar
- β1/2 cup (60g) All-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup (115g) Cold unsalted butter
- β1 cup (120g) Crumble mix
- β1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- βa pinch Nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Peel, core, and slice the apples. In a large bowl, combine the apples, sugar, flour, and spices. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.

Transfer the apple mixture to a 9x9-inch baking dish. Set aside.

In another bowl, combine the cold butter and crumble mix. Use your fingers or a pastry blender to work the butter into the crumble mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apple mixture.

Bake the crumble for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
