Crumble Tarts
A classic French dessert, these crumble tarts are filled with a rich apple frangipane and topped with a crunchy crumble made from crumbly Dutch butter.
Ingredients
- β1 cup crumbly butter
- β1 package dutch pastry dough
- β1 cup frangipane fillingstore-bought or homemade
- β1/2 cup sugargranulated
- β2 eggs
- β1 tsp vanilla extract
- β1/4 tsp cinnamon
- β1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.

Place a spoonful of frangipane filling in the center of each square.

Fold the pastry squares in half to form triangles and press edges to seal.

In a small bowl, mix together crumbly butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Use a pastry brush to apply the crumble mixture to the tops of the tarts.
