Thai Tofu Gratin
A creamy Thai-inspired gratin dish made with crispy tofu and gooey sauce. Best served hot and fresh.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) TofuDrained and cubed
- β1 cup, cubed French breadFor the gratin topping
- β2 cups, chopped Bitter leavesFor added flavor and texture

- β2 tbsp Coconut oilFor greasing the baking dish

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with coconut oil.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cubed tofu, chopped bitter leaves, salt, and black pepper.

In a separate bowl, prepare the gooey sauce according to the following recipe:

- Combine 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup coconut cream, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp Thai chili flakes in a saucepan.

- Bring to a boil over medium heat.

- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

- Stir in 1 tsp grated ginger and 1 tsp honey.

Pour the gooey sauce over the tofu mixture and stir to combine.

Transfer the tofu mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Top with cubed French bread.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
