French Chicken Wings Bowl
A twist on traditional Korean-style fried chicken wings, served in a light and zesty French-inspired bowl.
Ingredients
- β2 pounds chicken wings
- β1 cup cornstarchfor dredging
- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β1 large egg
- β1 cup buttermilk
- β1 cup zesty sauce
- β2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- β1 teaspoon korean chili flakes

Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a shallow dish, mix together the cornstarch, flour, and a pinch of salt.

Dredge the chicken wings in the cornstarch mixture, shaking off excess.

Dip the wings in the egg, making sure they're fully coated.

Dredge the wings in the flour mixture again, pressing the coating onto the wings to adhere.

Heat the buttermilk in a separate shallow dish.

Add the coated wings to the buttermilk, making sure they're fully submerged.

Let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Remove the wings from the buttermilk, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Fry the wings in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes per batch.

In a small bowl, mix together the zesty sauce, light soy sauce, and korean chili flakes.
