Galaktoboureko Pie with Yogurt
A classic Greek dessert, Galaktoboureko is a semolina custard pie wrapped in flaky phyllo pastry, served with a dollop of yogurt.
Ingredients
- β1 package 1 package of phyllo dough
- β1 cup 1 cup of semolina flour
- β1/2 cup 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- β1/2 cup 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- β1/2 cup 1/2 cup of galaktoboureko pie filling
- β1 cup 1 cup of greek yogurt
- β1 tsp 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Unroll the phyllo dough and cut into 4 equal pieces.

Brush each piece with melted butter.

In a bowl, mix together semolina flour, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.

Add the galaktoboureko pie filling to the bowl and mix well.

Place a piece of phyllo dough on a flat surface and brush with butter.

Spoon some of the semolina mixture onto the phyllo dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Fold the phyllo dough over the filling to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.

Repeat with the remaining phyllo dough and filling.

Place the triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
