Ukrainian-Style Biryani
A hearty and flavorful biryani dish inspired by Ukrainian cuisine, featuring tender meat and aromatic spices.
Ingredients

- β2 tbsp Xtra Virgin Olive Oil
- β1 lb Dense Ground Beef
- β2 tsp Ukrainian Mixed Spices
- β1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- β1 cup, uncooked Biryani Rice
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh Cilantro

Heat the xtra virgin olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add the dense ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.

Add the Ukrainian mixed spices, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the datterini tomatoes and cook until they start to break down, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the biryani rice and cook for 2-3 minutes, until it is well coated with the oil and spice mixture.

Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and let it cool to room temperature.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
