Malaysian Fried Rice
A flavorful and aromatic dish that combines the best of both worlds from Malaysian and Chinese cuisine. Quick, easy, and delicious!
Ingredients
- β2 cups xenial rice
- β1 cup sweetcorn
- β1 cup charred vegetables (bell peppers, onions, carrots)
- β2 tablespoons fried shallots
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the charred vegetables and cook until tender.

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan.

Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the empty side of the pan.

Pour in 2 cups of xenial rice and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add the sweetcorn, fried shallots, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

Combine the rice mixture with the charred vegetables.
