Warm Kenyan Flatbread
A simple and delicious flatbread from Kenya, perfect for serving with your favorite stews or as a side dish.
Ingredients

- β2 cups Kenyan flour
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β Flatbread dough enhancerOptional, but recommended for a lighter texture

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and 1 teaspoon of salt. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

Add 2 cups of Kenyan flour to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into 4-6 equal pieces, depending on how large you want your flatbreads to be.

Roll out each piece into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Brush the pan with olive oil.

Cook the flatbread for 1-2 minutes on each side, until it's lightly browned and puffed up.
