Chicken Canadian Casserole
A creamy casserole dish filled with chicken, velvety sauce and Canadian ingredients, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 cup velvety saucestore-bought or homemade
- β6 slices canadian baconcrumbled
- β1 casserole dish9x13 inch
- β1 cup shredded cheddar cheesedivided
- β2 tablespoons all-purpose flourfor thickening
- β1 cup milkfor sauce
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

Cook the Canadian bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside.

In a separate pot, combine velvety sauce, milk, and flour. Whisk until smooth and bring to a simmer.

Add shredded cheddar cheese to the sauce and stir until melted.

In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, Canadian bacon, and sauce mixture.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch casserole dish and top with additional shredded cheese.
