Bitter Russian Tagine Chicken
A flavorful and savory chicken dish with a unique twist from Russian cuisine. The bitterness of the tagine pairs perfectly with the smokiness of the chicken.

- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1 large onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tablespoon gingergrated
- β2 cups chicken broth

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the tagine, chicken broth, and chicken breast. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 30-40 minutes.
