Australian Beef Pappardelle
A hearty Australian-inspired pasta dish featuring tender beef and pappardelle pasta.
Ingredients
- β250g Australian beef strips
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1 Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β250g Pappardelle pasta
- β100g Cherry tomatoes
- β1 cup Red wine
- β1 cup Beef broth
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

2. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3 minutes.

3. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

4. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

5. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for a further 2 minutes.

6. Add the red wine and beef broth to the pan, scraping up any browned bits.

7. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

8. Add the cooked beef back to the pan and stir to coat with the sauce.

9. Cook the pappardelle pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente.

10. Serve the beef and sauce over the cooked pappardelle pasta.
