Saudi Arabian Tripe Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Saudi Arabia, made with tender tripe and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Tripe cleaned and cut into bite-sized pieces
- ●2 tablespoons Vegetable oilfor browning
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 tablespoon Gingergrated
- ●1 cup Tangy saucestore-bought or homemade
- ●2 cups Beef brothlow-sodium
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
Instructions

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Brown the tripe on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the tripe from the pot and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and sauté the onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in the tangy sauce and beef broth.

Return the tripe to the pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 2 hours, or until the tripe is tender.
