Smoky Lamb Pasta Bake
A French-inspired pasta dish loaded with smoky lamb and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- β12 oz pastaMiddle eastern style, such as pappardelle
- β1 lb lambGround lamb
- β1 cup tangy sauceStore-bought or homemade tomato sauce with a twist of lemon
- β2 tsp smoky paprikaOptional for extra smokiness
- β2 tbsp olive oilFor cooking
- β3 cloves garlicMinced
- β1 medium onionChopped
- β1 cup feta cheeseOptional for topping
- β1/4 cup fresh parsleyChopped, for garnish

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add ground lamb and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Stir in smoky paprika and cook for 1 minute.

Add cooked pasta to the pan and stir to combine with lamb mixture.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and top with tangy sauce and crumbled feta cheese (if using).
