Shrimp and Norwegian Salmon Penne
A spicy Italian-inspired dish combining shrimp, salmon, and penne pasta in a steamy tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Shrimp
- β1 pound Norwegian Salmon FilletFresh, skin removed
- β1 pound Penne Pasta
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Olive Oil
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β2 cups Diced TomatoesCanned or fresh
- β1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- β1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook penne pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink, then remove from skillet and set aside.

Add Norwegian salmon fillet to skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through.

Remove salmon from skillet and set aside with shrimp.

Add diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes to skillet, stirring to combine.

Reduce heat to low and simmer sauce for 5 minutes.

Add cooked penne pasta to skillet and toss with sauce until well coated.
