Smoky Yam Roast with Malysian Crumble
A flavorful and aromatic roasted yam dish topped with a crunchy Malaysian crumble made with smoky and roasted ingredients. Perfect for a snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- β2 large Yam
- β1/2 cup Roasted peanuts
- β2 tbsp Smoky soy sauce
- β1 tsp Malaysian chili flakes
- β1 cup Crumble topping mixturesee below
- β2 tbsp Coconut oilfor brushing

1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Pierce the yams with a fork several times and brush with coconut oil.

3. Roast the yams in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until tender.

4. While the yams are roasting, mix together the peanuts, smoky soy sauce, and Malaysian chili flakes in a bowl.

5. Remove the yams from the oven and top each one with the peanut mixture.

6. In a separate bowl, mix together the crumble topping ingredients.

7. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the yams.

8. Return the yams to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown.
