Pan-Seared Skillet Crusted Dates
Sweet dates coated in a savory crust and seared to perfection. This dish is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- β2 tsp smoke paprika
- β1 tsp hot paprika
- β2 tbsp creamy mustard
- β1 tsp pungent garlic powder
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- β2 tbsp skillet oil

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a small bowl, mix together the flour, smoke paprika, hot paprika, creamy mustard, and pungent garlic powder.

Cut the dates in half lengthwise and remove the pits.

Coat each date half in the flour mixture, pressing the mixture onto the dates to help it stick.

Heat the skillet oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the coated dates to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
