Slow Cooked White Bean Casserole
A comforting, slow-cooked Indian-inspired casserole made with white beans and a hint of spices.

- β1 cup dried (or 2 cups cooked) white beans
- β2 cups diced american tomatoes
- β1 cup shredded american cheese
- β1 pound american ground beef (optional)
- β1/2 cup simmered onions
- β1 tsp garam masala
- β1/2 tsp cumin powder
- βto taste salt

Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

Add the diced onions and cook until softened. Set aside.

In a slow cooker, combine the white beans, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, browned ground beef and onions, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
