Crispy Italian Chickpea Fritters
A crunchy Italian-inspired snack made with chickpeas and a hint of French flair. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- β2 tablespoons savory
- β1 cup crunch
- β1 tablespoon french
- β2 cloves garlic, minced
- β1 cup breadingpreferably Italian-style breadcrumbs

1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas, and mash them in a large bowl using a fork or a potato masher.

2. Add the savory, crunch, and French to the bowl, and mix well.

3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

4. Using your hands, shape the chickpea mixture into patties.

5. Dip each patty in the breading, coating both sides evenly.

6. Place the breaded patties in the skillet, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

7. Remove the fritters from the skillet, and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
