Croatian Beef Stir Fry
A simple and flavorful beef stir fry with a hint of Croatian spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef (sirloin or ribeye)Slice into thin strips
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β1 medium Bell pepperChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1 teaspoon Croatian paprika
- β2 tablespoons FlourOptional (for thickening)
- β2 tablespoons WaterOptional (for thickening)
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the Croatian paprika and cook for 1 minute.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

If desired, mix the flour and water to create a slurry and add to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
