Venezuelan Buckwheat Pilaf
A Chinese-inspired dish that combines the earthy flavors of buckwheat and venezuelan ingredients with a rustic twist.
Ingredients
- β1 cup buckwheat groats
- β1 cup venezuelan rice
- β2 tablespoons aerated vegetable oil
- β1 medium onion
- β2 cloves garlic
- β2 tablespoons soy sauce
- β1 teaspoon sesame oil
- β1 bunch scallions
- β1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of aerated vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the buckwheat groats and venezuelan rice to the skillet, stirring to combine with the onion and garlic mixture.
