Korean-Style Pork Ssam
A Korean-inspired pork dish served with a sweet and spicy sauce, wrapped in a crispy lettuce leaf.
Ingredients

- β2 teaspoons Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)or to taste
- β1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- β2 cloves Garlicminced

- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- β4-6 leaves Lettuce leaves (such as napa or romaine)
- β1 tablespoon Rich sesame oilfor brushing

1. In a large bowl, whisk together chili flakes, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.

2. Add the sliced pork to the marinade and toss to coat.

3. Let the pork marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

5. Remove the pork from the marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

7. Assemble the ssam by placing a few pieces of pork onto a lettuce leaf, followed by a spoonful of the marinade sauce.
