Moroccan Tagine Quesadillas
A fusion of Moroccan and Mexican flavors, these quesadillas combine rich, gooey tagine sauce with crispy bacon and serve with a side of warm flour tortillas.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, cooked and crumbled bacon
- β1 cup tagine
- β4-6 tortillas flour tortillas
- β1/2 cup, chopped onion
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp paprika
- β1/2 tsp black pepper
- β1/4 tsp salt

Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the crumbled bacon and cook until crispy.

Add the chopped onion, cumin, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the tagine sauce and stir to combine.

Place a tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle shredded cheese on half of the tortilla.

Add the bacon and tagine mixture on top of the cheese.

Fold the tortilla in half and cook until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy.

Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
